This term Class 2 will be learning about seasides and under the sea. In history we will look at how seasides have changed over time, looking at what they were like in the past. In geography we will be looking at the world’s oceans and seaside towns around the world. We are also going to be visiting The Deep on the 1st of July. Dont forget that you need to return your money and slip if you woud like to come.
This week Class 2 went on a school trip to Conisbrough Castle. We had a tour around the castle learning what each room was and how it was used. We learnt how the lords, cooks and peasants lived long ago. Lady Isobelle and Lord Hamlin built the castle 850 years ago. The children dressedÂ up as people from theÂ medieval times and did some drama and role play. Have a look at some of our photos below.
This term our new topic is Castles, Knights & Dragons. We will be learning about the insides and outsides of castles and will be visiting Conisbrough castle onÂ Wednesday 6th May. All the children are really looking forward to it.

This term our topic is famous places. We are looking at different places around the world. In our art lessons we are looking at famous landmarks. The children have been drawing pictures of famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Empire State Building. Can you name any other famous landmarks?
Circle time has Â now become a weekly occurance in Class 2. We get to hear all about the exciting things children have been doing at home or plans they have for the weekend. The children are really enthusiastic and enjoy listening to whatÂ the tothers have to say. We are getting really good at listening to others when they are talking.
